Assemblies Return to Endeavour Elementary School

Image of Endeavour students at the PBSES assembly.

For the first time in almost three years, in-person assemblies are back at Endeavour Elementary!

This past Wednesday, marked the first PBSES assembly for the school year and staff and students alike were excited to all be together in the MPR to celebrate. During PBSES assemblies, the October focus "Be Curious" was shared as well as the October book "I Wonder" by K.A. Holt. But the most exciting part of the assembly is always the Golden Ticket Drawing! Students and classes can earn Golden Tickets from any staff member for following the school wide expectations: "Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be a Learner." Three tickets were drawn at the K-2 assembly and another three were drawn at the 3-5 assembly. Classes drawn earn a popsicle party with Principal Funes!

When it was time for the Golden Ticket Drawing, the excitement was palpable. "Let's go!" exclaimed 5th grader, Carlos Jimenez after his class, led by Amy Kirschenman, was drawn from the golden box. PE teacher, Erin Marsh, was excited that a ticket she had given to Misti Shupe's 4th grade class was drawn as well. "It is so rewarding to see their hard work pay off". The K-2 winners were Rebecca Espino's kindergarten, Lizzy Herda's first grade and Emma McKenny's second grade classroom. The winning classes from the 3rd-5th grade assembly were Jennifer Thompson's third grade, Shupe's fourth grade and Kirschenman's fifth grade class.

Congrats to the winners and keep earning those Golden Tickets Endeavour Jaguars!
