Report Cards for the end of trimester are live and available for parent viewing on Family Access. Directions for how you can access and view your student’s report card can be found on the district website. Blank translations of the report cards are also available on the district website in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Russian. Reach out to your student’s teacher if you would like more information regarding your student’s progress.
Strategic planning work proceeds this week, with a work study session prior to the regular School Board meeting as well as a regular session discussion item. The district is creating a three-year strategic plan that will identify specific goals, strategies for reaching those goals, and metrics to measure progress.
At this week’s School Board meeting, staff and board members will continue discussions about the 2023-24 budget process. The recommended reduction for next year is about $9.8 million, with 81% of that amount at the central Administration Building and Operations. A Reduction in Force (RIF) of certificated staff members is not part of the proposed reductions.
