District

Superintendent Updates

The district is sharing information about planning for the 2026–27 school year, including enrollment trends and budget development. While community levy support remains essential, changing conditions require thoughtful adjustments. State and federal funding has not kept pace with costs and student needs, and the district continues to plan responsibly. Throughout this process, the focus remains on high‑quality instruction, strong supports and a positive school experience for all students.

Health and Wellness Icon for Announcements

The Issaquah School District will transition its school-based mental health services following a decision by Swedish Medical Center to discontinue its school-based mental health program, effective July 31. In the 2026–27 school year, ISD will expand its partnership with Youth Eastside Services, a long-standing partner already providing expertise in behavioral health, mental health and substance use support in district schools. We will maintain the same number of mental health counselors previously provided through Swedish.
