MERLIN - 3rd Grade
Supplies do not need to be new if last year’s are still usable.
Requested Community Supplies (Do NOT label names on these items)
- 1 large box Kleenex
- 1 medium-sized bottle of gel hand sanitizer
- 1 container of disinfectant countertop wipes
- 1 package 8.5 x 11” lined notebook paper
Requested Personal Supplies (Label student’s name in permanent ink)
Binder and Backpack Supplies:
- 5 folders - one each for reading (blue), math (red), writing (green), social studies/science (any color/design), homework/parents (any color/design). Colors are recommendations only- not required.
- 1 pencil pouch (big plastic boxes don't fit in desks)
- 1 backpack (non-rolling type)
- Wired ear buds to use with computers (big headphones won’t fit inside desks/cubbies)
Writing / Art Supplies:
- 36 pencils—No. 2 (Pre-sharpened, no need for names on each one)
- 4 wide-ruled spiraled notebooks, 3 hole-punched
- 1 highlighter pen
- 1 red pen for correcting
- 1 hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings container (not battery operated)
- 1 set colored pencils
- 1 set thick colored markers
- 2 Sharpies (black, 1 fine-tipped and 1 ultra-fine tip)
- 1 pink Pearl erasers (or equivalent)
- 1 jumbo solid glue stick (invisible)
- 4 pads of 3x3” sticky notes (any color)
- 1 pair of scissors (Fiskars recommended)
Math Supplies:
- 8 dry erase markers-Any color (fine tipped, dark colors, Expo brand recommended)
- 1 old sock/fabric square to use as an eraser on dry-erase boards
